Eagle Cross-Country Competes at State Meet

(HENDERSONVILLE, TN - November 3, 2023) - 

The Eagle cross-country teams competed in the Division II-AA State meet at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville last week.

The boys finished 14th overall at state with a team average time of 19:35.84 for the 3.1 mile race.   

Colin Kozlowski (11th) led the way with a personal record finish time, finishing in 58th place.

He was followed by Josh Green (11th), Vince Koch (11th), Trevor Scott (11th), and Christian Carralero (9th).

Carralero set a personal record, as did Joseph Leoni (9th) and Miguel Mendez (9th).

Two girls' cross-country runners competed and both finished in the top 90.

Maddia Mullis (10th) finished 53rd overall and first among the west Tennessee schools represented.

Haylie Burton (9th) also ran a great race finishing 88th overall and achieved another personal record in the process.
