Mullis and Scott Compete at Frank Horton Classic

(MEMPHIS, TN - October 8, 2022) - The cross-country teams participated in the Frank Horton Classic at Shelby Farms on Saturday.

While the girls' team did not have enough participating runners to compete as a team, both Eagles ran strong races.

Freshman Maddia Mullis finished in seventh place with a personal best time of 22:44.

Senior Savannah Scott also ran well, finishing in 26:07 to take 32nd place.

The team will have an extended break until the Division II-AA Regionals are held on October 26 at Shelby Farms.
