SBA Runs in First MYA League Meet

MEMPHIS, TN (September 15, 2021) – The St. Benedict Eagles cross country JV teams took to the course at Shelby Farms on Wednesday night for the first MYA League Meet of the season.

Jenna Houff led the way for the Eagles girls, finishing 29th in a time of 27:45. Dayle Bullen came in 34th in 29:18. Emma Van Dongen (39:42) was 46th, Abigail Adams 47th (40:41) and Caroline Dorian 48th (42:17).

For the SBA boys, Brenden Torres posted a 34th place finish in 21:45 to lead the way. Dillard Shenosky was 44th in 24:07 and William Hall 45th in 24:44. C.J. Dunehew took 57th place with a time of 30:07 and Ryan Beatty finished 59th in 32:27. 

The Eagles varsity squad is headed to Huntsville, Alabama on Saturday, September 18 for The Southern Showcase.
