Volleyball Wins in Straight Sets at Hutchison

(MEMPHIS, TN - August 16, 2022) - After a loss to Brighton in the season opener, the volleyball team responded with authority against Hutchison on Tuesday.

The first two sets were competitive, but the Eagles showed some mettle and were able to grind out a victory in both, by scores of 25-19 and 25-22.

In the third set, they did not waste any time in putting the Sting away, closing out the match with a statement 25-11 set win.

The team (1-1, 1-0) will turn around and play Lausanne on Wednesday night.
