Ensworth Ends St. Benedict's Season

(NASHVILLE, TN - October 16, 2021) -  After a thrilling first round victory at the expense of Lipscomb Academy, St. Benedict made the drive to Nashville to face Ensworth with a chance to advance to the State Tournament. Unfortunately, the Tigers did not receive them with a warm welcome.

The opening set was all Ensworth and finished with a score of 25-11. The Eagles rallied the troops in the second set and put up a strong fight, but ultimately lost 25-23 and Ensworth finished off the sweep with a 25-13 third set victory to move on to Murfreesboro.

St. Benedict finishes the season with a record of 11-8 and a lot of reasons to feel good, including that first round playoff triumph.
