SBA Swept by Saints on the Road

EADS, TN (August 31, 2021) – St. Benedict took to the road Tuesday and suffered a three-set sweep at the hands of Briarcrest. 

The Saints jumped on the Eagles early, winning the first two sets by scores of 25-14, 25-11. They then took the finishing set 25-14 and dropped SBA's record to 4-2 on the year.

SBA's JV team had its five-match winning streak to start the season halted by Briarcrest, falling 25-13 and 25-18. The Saints took the freshman match to start the day (25-20, 25-18), dropping the Eagles to 2-1.

SBA is back at home on Thursday, September 2 hosting St. Mary's in a key regional match-up. The JV game is set to start at 5:30 with the varsity to follow at 6:30.
