St. Agnes Knocks SBA From Ranks of Unbeaten

MEMPHIS, TN (August 26, 2021) – St. Benedict at Auburndale went on the road for the third time in four days and stumbled against St. Agnes, falling 3-0. 

The setback was the first of the season for the Eagle (4-1).

SAA won in straight sets, 25-15, 25-19, 25-10.

The Eagles JV stayed hot and moved to 5-0 on the year, winning in straight sets. SBA cruised to scores of 25-15-25-21.

SBA's freshman team joined the JV in staying undefeated (2-0), winning 25-21 and 25-17 over SAA.

The Eagles were set to compete in the Bartlett River City Classic, but the event has been canceled. SBA is back in action on Monday, August 30 hosting Bartlett in just freshman (4:30 p.m.) and JV (5:30 p.m.) matches.
