Trap Team Shines in Final Regular Season Shoot

(LAKELAND, TN - May 7, 2022) - The trap team competed in the last Shelby County Scholastic Clay Target Tournament of the season on Saturday. 

There were nearly 300 shooters and 12 schools represented. The SBA Gold squad of Brandon Baker, Jacob Fullen, Ian Laird, Josh Thompson, Cole Allen finished tied for first overall in the Junior Gold division.

Jacob Fullen took home an individual medal for first place in the Junior D division by shooting a 96 and Brandon Baker took home an individual medal for 3rd place in the Junior A division with 87 targets hit out of 100.

The next shoot is the Tennessee Regionals on June 4th out at Shelby Farms, where St. Benedict will have eight shooters represented.
