Girls' Soccer Opens Season With Shutout in Mississippi

(SENATOBIA, MS - August 13, 2022) - The girls' soccer team began its 2022 campaign with a bang, shutting out Magnolia Heights on the road on Saturday afternoon.

They opened the scoring early and never looked back on their way to a 4-0 win.

Angel Permenter, Kayla Hughes, Emmy Brenner, and Maria Bair each scored in their first goals of the season in the game.

Junior goalkeeper Gracie Luther posted a shutout as the Eagles dominated from start to finish.

The girls will shoot for their second win of the season at Bartlett on Thursday night.
