Eagles Roll Crosstown, 9-0

CORDOVA, TN (September 2, 2021) – Led by two goals each from Emmy Brenner and Lily Demilio, St. Benedict put one in the win column in a big way, beating Crosstown High School 9-0.

The Eagles racked up nearly 30 shots on goal and ended the match by mercy rule with 28:39 still left to play.

Brenner got SBA on the board just four minutes into the match and Demilio added another four minutes later. From there, the Eagles never looked back.

Kate Simoncic also scored twice on the night while Emma Clowney, Emma Unger and Ava Esteb also found the back of the net.

Gracie Luther and Gracie Manning combined for the clean sheet in goal.

 

The Eagles are back at home on Tuesday, September 7 hosting White Station. The JV game is slated for 4:30 with the varsity to get underway at 6 p.m.
