Girls' Lacrosse Competes in Louisiana LaxFest

(BOSSIER, LA - February 20, 2022) - The SBA girls' lacrosse team traveled to the Shreveport area to play in the LaxFest 2022 tournament over the weekend.

On Saturday, the team played three games to open the tournament. They tied 8-8 against CE Byrd, lost 10-5 to Rockwall, and lost 22-2 to Houston Hot Sauce. Bailey Gegg scored at least two goals in each game, including a four goal effort against CE Byrd.

On Sunday, the team lost to P-Town Lax by a score of 17-4, but was able to advance to bracket play based on their goal differential advantage over CE Byrd. In the fourth place game, the team lost a rematch with Houston Hot Sauce, 13-3.

The team plays next at Lausanne on Thursday.
