SBA Finishes Third at TSSAA Regional Tournament

OAKLAND, TN (September 20, 2021) – The St. Benedict at Auburndale girls golf battled the rain and a tough field to finish third at the TSSAA D-II AA Regional Tournament on Monday. St. Agnes hosted the championship event at Fair Oaks Golf Club. 

The Eagles finished just behind winner Hutchison and SAA while beating St. Mary's and Briarcrest.

Claire Hollingsworth led the way, shooting 83 to finish fifth. She was in a playoff for the second individual spot to advance to the state tournament, but came up short on the first hole.

Tanier Massey posted a round of 94 and Isabel Mejia shot 96.
