SBA Girls Golf Ninth at Father Ryan

MANCHESTER, TN (September 9, 2021) – Playing among the best teams in the state, the St. Benedict at Auburndale girls golf team took ninth at the Father Ryan Irish Invitational on Thursday.

The even was hosted at Champions Run and provided teams with a preview of those schools expected to compete for the state championship.

Claire Hollingsworth led the way with a ninth place finish for the Eagles. Isabella Mejia posted a career-best round of 89 to also highlight SBA's day.

St. Benedict will be back in action on Tuesday, September 14 in a make-up dual match with Arlington. Competition is set to begin at 3 p.m. at Fair Oaks.
