Hollingsworth Wins Silver at HJGT; Named CA Top Golfer
Rising sophomore Claire Hollingsworth put a cap on the summer season with two big accolades prior to the start of school.
On the course, she took second at the 2021 Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Nashville Open. Hollingsworth turned in scores of 83-87 at the event, hosted at Greystone Golf Club.
She was also named one of the Commercial Appeal's Top Memphis Golfers to watch in 2021. "Hollingsworth won four tournaments on the Sneeds Tour and finished second in regionals. She shot 45-over par and tied for 18th at the DII-AA state tournament."
The Lady Eagles start the 2021 season on Wednesday, August 11, facing off against Bartlett.
