Lady Eagles Lose Close Game Against Hutchison

(CORDOVA, TN - February 16, 2023) - On Thursday night, the Lady Eagles played against Hutchison at home.  

In the first quarter the Lady Eagles were behind with a score of 22-12 but by halftime the Eagles came back with a close score of 27-24. 

The comeback was not good enough and the Eagles fell to Hutchison by a score of 58-47. 

For the Lady Eagles, Maria Bair scored 22 points along with 9 rebounds to try and keep up with Hutchison. 

For Hutchison, Lauren Buress scored 16 points along with Jayla Dorsey and Ava Jones, who both scored 12 points against the Lady Eagles. 

The Lady Eagles played again on Friday against Briarcrest at home to close the basketball season out.
