Lady Eagles Lose Road Game at Houston

(GERMANTOWN, TN - November 30, 2022) - The girls' basketball team went on the road to play at Houston on Wednesday night in a game that was pushed back a day due to inclement weather.

After an even first quarter, the Mustangs stormed ahead, winning the second quarter by an 18-6 margin to take a double digit lead into halftime.

It didn't get better from there for SBA, as Houston ran away with a 64-34 win.

Anna Lee Avery and Mya Morant led the Mustangs in the scoring column, with 19 and 18 points respectively.

Farrah Rector was the Eagles' top scorer with 14 points and Molly Magness also hit double digits with 11 points of her own.

The team is 1-2 on the year so far. They will host MHEA on Friday night.
