SBA Girls Fall to Hutchison

(CORDOVA, TN - January 14, 2022) - The Eagles faced off with Hutchison (8-5, 1-0) in a region matchup Friday night at The Nest.

It was all Sting from the beginning, as Hutchison was able to secure a 36-20 victory and drop SBA to 1-1 in the region.

Berklee Scifres was the high scorer in the game with 14 points and made three first quarter threes to help Hutchison build their lead. The Sting held SBA scoreless in the second quarter and held a 23-7 lead at halftime.

Maria Bair scored seven of her ten points in the second half for SBA as the Eagles outscored Hutchison in the third quarter 7-2 but the deficit proved too steep to overcome.

The girls (3-11, 1-1) travel to Jackson to face Sacred Heart on Saturday.
