MHEA Defeats Eagle Girls

(CORDOVA, TN - December 14, 2021) - In another matchup of two teams known as the Eagles, MHEA came out on top on Tuesday night at The Nest.

Mikayla Abram (11 pts) and Grace Abram (9 pts) were the leading scorers in the first half for MHEA as they built a 24-13 halftime lead.

The SBA offense sputtered out of the gate but leading scorer Izzie Polania (12 pts) and Sarah Wiggins (5 pts) kept them within range.

However, MHEA extended their lead with a 15-4 third quarter thanks to baskets from Ashley Milewski (10 pts) and effectively put the game away. SBA won the fourth quarter 12-7 but MHEA secured a 46-29 victory.

The SBA girls are 1-5 on the season and will face St. George's on Friday.
