Softball Team Blasts Harding

(MEMPHIS, TN - April 7, 2022) - The softball team played an afternoon road game at Harding on Thursday.

The result was an 18-1 victory, the team's second straight mercy rule win.

Charlee Smith got the win for the Eagles, throwing a complete game and striking out seven.

Neely Taylor and Zoie Bernard were the offensive leaders. Taylor went 2-2 with a home run, a triple, and four RBI. Bernard went 3-3 with a double, a triple, and three RBI.

The team (8-10) looks to carry the momentum into Friday's game against Arlington.
