SBA Softball Starts Season in Gulf Shores

(GULF SHORES, AL - March 14-16, 2022) - The SBA softball team began its season in Gulf Shores, AL over Spring Break.

The team went 1-3 in its four games during the tournament. They lost 11-3 to Hillcrest (AL), beat Grace Christian 4-0, lost to Cullman (AL) 5-3, and lost to Tuscaloosa County (AL) 7-1.

In the win against Grace Christian, Neely Taylor and Ginny Gex both had two hits and Charlee Smith added a triple of her own. Gex got the win.

The team is back in Memphis and will host Munford in the season's home opener on Tuesday.
