SBA Boys Run Hard in Hendersonville

(HENDERSONVILLE, TN - November 5, 2021) - The SBA boys' cross country team finished its season Friday morning in Hendersonville at the state championship meet.

Senior Daniel Leoni was the first to cross the line for the Eagles, which was good for 49th place in a time of 17:25.

A trio of freshman followed, with Vince Koch (89th, 19:07), Josh Green (90th, 19:07), and Colin Kozlowski (92nd, 19:20) following suit.

The final point scorer for the Eagles was junior Brendan Torres (102nd, 20:22). Sophomore Mason Zemaitis and freshman Trevor Scott also ran for the Eagles.

The team finished in 16th place, barely behind three other schools, including Briarcrest.
