Leoni Posts PR to Lead Eagles in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, AL (September 18, 2021) – In a race of nearly 450 runners, St. Benedict at Auburndale senior Daniel Leoni placed 11th to lead the Eagles at the 2021 Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama. 

Leoni posted a personal best time of 16:54 and was one of just 14 runners to break 17 minuts.

Colin Kozlowski stopped the clock at 19:43 to place 320th, while Mason Zemaitis was 407th (21:20) and Trevor Scott 408th (21:22). Vince Koch finished 420th (22:17) and Mark Koch was 424th (22:28).

The Eagles are back in Memphis on September 24 for the Frank Horton Night Invitational at Shelby Farms.
