Eagles 29th at CityAuto Twilight Classic

MEMPHIS, TN (September 4, 2021) – Under the lights at the Mike Rose Soccer complex on Saturday night, the St. Benedict at Auburndale boys cross country went up against nearly 50 of the top schools in the Mid-South. The Eagles came away with a 29th place finish, totaling 1009 points.

Daniel Leoni led the way for SBA with a 55th place finish, stopping the clock at 17:23. Colin Kozlowski finished 228th (19:45) and Josh Green 264 (20:21). Vince Koch was the 290th across the line in 20:51 and Mason Zemaitis finished 299 in 21:18. Mark Koch (332/22:36) and Trevor Scott (334/22:40) also ran for the Eagles varsity squad.

SBA's JV squad was led by William Hall's 192 place finish in a time of 24:30. C.J. Dunehew was 255th (30:13), Ryan Beatty 262nd (33:13) and William Anderson 263rd (34:52).

The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday, September 15 at the first MYA League Meet at Shelby Farms Park.
