SBA Gold Places 3rd at 100-Bird Shoot

(LAKELAND, TN - March 26, 2022) - The Shelby County Scholastic Clay Target Program 100-bird tournament featured over 400 shooters across 15 different schools.  SBA finished at the top end of the leaderboard in several categories.  First, the SBA Gold squad of Ian Laird, Jacob Fullen, Josh Thompson, Cole Allen, and Brandon Baker finished 3rd overall with a 426 hit out of 500.  Congrats to Ian Laird who individually finished 2nd overall in his division with a 92 out of 100 and Brandon Baker who individually finished 3rd overall in his division with a 90 out of 100.  Lastly congrats to Clare Palasz who shot a career best 60.  Conditions were tough with winds gusting to 20mph and temps in the high 30s.  The next match is another 100-bird tournament scheduled for April 9th at MSSA.
