Eagle Track Team Thrives at Regional Meet
(MEMPHIS, TN - May 9-11, 2023) - This past week, the Eagles participated in the Regional Tournament at MUS.
On Tuesday, seven Eagles were in action all placing in the top 8.
For the boys' long jump, Cayden Willis accomplished 1st in the long jump with a jump of (22-02). Jaylon Hawkins placed 5th in long jump with a jump of (19-05). Ryan Neely placed 6th in long jump with a jump of (19-03).
In the shotput, Brenden Driskill placed 7th with a throw of (26-07).
In the girls' discus, Janney Perez placed 5th in discus with (70-09). Abigail Adams placed 6th in discus with (64-04). Madison Hayslett placed 8th in discus with (51-01).
On Wednesday, the team had participants in the girls' long jump and shotput.
In the girls' long jump, Cara Pirani placed 5th with (14-06). Olivia Beattie placed 10th with (13-04). Angel Permenter placed 12th with (12-03).
For the girls' shotput, Abigail Adams placed 3rd with (29-02). Madison Hayslett placed 9th with (22-07). Cara Pirani placed 7th with (26-03).
