Soccer Team Wins Two of Three in Arlington Tournament

(ARLINGTON, TN - March 15-17, 2024) - The boys' soccer team opened its season by playing in a tournament at Arlington this weekend.

In the first game of the tournament, the team demolished Trinity Christian 8-0. Gabe Springer and Joe Cherry both scored two goals and Luke Swearingen, Dillard Shenoskey, and Hayden Redding also found the back of the net.

The team followed the win with a 4-3 win against Millington. In this game, Daniel Contreras scored two goals. Springer and Cherry added goals of their own.

Briarcrest defeated the Eagles in the tournament finale, 4-2, but it was a hard fought match. Cherry and Swearingen scored to goals.

The team plays at Harding and Tipton-Rosemark this week.
