SBA Boys Take Down McCallie in Quarterfinal

(SMYRNA, TN - January 20, 2022) - The SBA boys' bowling team came out swinging in their opening match of the State Tournament against McCallie on Thursday.

In the American 10-Pin round, numerous Eagles had strong showings. Adam Fillion and Josh Parker, both coming off top-6 finishes in the Individual Tournament, led the way with 229 and 214 games, respectively. Mason McHughes contributed as well with a 178.

McCallie took a couple of the Baker rounds but the overall consistency of SBA was too much to handle and the boys took the State Quarterfinal match 18-5.

The next obstacle for the team is Lipscomb Academy in a match to be played at 9:00 AM on Friday.
