St. Benedict Shuts Out CBHS in Opener

(CORDOVA, TN - October 19, 2021) - St. Benedict's boys' bowling squad took on the Brothers of CBHS in the season opener and turned in a convincing performance, coming out on top 23-0.

Team captain and senior Geno Siano lead the team to an impressive 475 pin-margin victory. Senior Mason McHughes also performed well, busting out of the barn with the first 10 strikes for an incredible 287 game.

Several other bowlers were not far behind - sophomore Adam Fillion shot a 242, senior Luke Trouy pounded out a 222, Geno Siano rolled a nice 210, and senior Sean Simoncic also rang the 200 bell with a solid 203. 

The team starts off 1-0 and will be back in action Thursday against Harding at Cordova Bowling Center.
