Eagle Boys Ride Strong Second Quarter to Victory

(CORDOVA, TN - January 17, 2023) - The boys' basketball team welcomed MHEA to The Nest for a midweek matchup.

After a slow start that led to an MHEA lead after the first quarter, the SBA offense got rolling in a big way, winning the second quarter by a 25-7 margin.

The scoring was distributed up and down the roster, but Marcus Gray (15 points) and Damion Cox (13 points) led the way.

The team cruised to victory after leading 33-19 at half time, winning by a final score of 67-49. Cameron Mathis led MHEA with 14 points.

The team (11-4) will travel to CBHS for a region matchup on Friday night.
