SBA Boys Trounce Lewisburg

(CORDOVA, TN - February 1, 2022) - The SBA boys' basketball team crushed Lewisburg to open Winterfest week at The Nest on Tuesday night.

The offense was clicking right off the bat and the Patriots were never able to mount any type of comeback. Gary Bair and Marcus Gray were the co-leading scorers with 21 points apiece and Damion Cox put in 17 points. Rhett Broussard was also in double figures with 10 points.

The score at the half was 46-24 in favor of the Eagles and, while the Patriot offense got going in the third quarter, the only question left to answer was whether SBA would hit 100. They fell just short but the team will be happy with their 94-64 victory.

The boys (7-12) will look to keep rolling on Friday at MUS.
