PJP II Turns Back SBA Boys

(HENDERSONVILLE, TN - December 4, 2021) - Playing their third game in as many days, the SBA boys' basketball team ran out of gas against Pope John Paul II.

The Knights controlled the game from start to finish, leading 14-10 after one quarter and 34-20 at halftime. Connor Tuerff (17 pts) was the high scorer for PJP II and Antonio Wilkerson (14 pts) and Fred Bailey (12 pts) were also in double figures.

The second half was also all Knights, as they gradually pulled away to win by a final score of 75-38. Gary Bair led SBA with 12 points and Josh Neely added 9 points.

The boys are 1-5 on the season and will play Union City at The Nest on Tuesday night.
