SBA Boys Notch First Win

(MEMPHIS, TN - November 27, 2021) - In the second game of the Jerry Peters Turkey Shootout, the SBA boys clashed with Jackson Academy.

The Raiders made the trip north from Mississippi and were treated to a close contest. Both teams went on extended runs in the first half and remained deadlocked at halftime 26-26.

SBA used a strong third quarter to take a nine point lead and held on for the close 49-45 victory late.

Kam Beverley led Jackson Academy with 16 points, while SBA utilized the three-pronged attack of Damion Cox (12 pts), Marcus Gray (12 pts), and Joseph DiGaetano (11 pts).

The Eagles are now 1-2 on the season and will meet Germantown in their home opener Dec. 2.
