Quistors Conquer Eagles at MUS

(MEMPHIS, TN - November 26, 2021) - The St. Benedict boys' basketball team participated in the 2021 Jerry Peters Turkey Shootout over Thanksgiving Break, meeting Olive Branch in the opening game.

Although the boys ran out to a quick start and led 15-10 at the end of the first quarter, the Quistors proved to be a tough matchup. Olive Branch used a 25-11 second quarter to take the lead 35-26 at halftime.

The Eagles responded by cutting the deficit to five prior to the fourth quarter before the Quistors scored 35 points in the fourth quarter and won the game 82-55. Marcus Gray led SBA in scoring with 20 points and Damion Cox contributed 16 points.

The Eagles (1-1) will play Jackson Academy in their second game of the Jerry Peters Turkey Shootout.
