Baseball Gets Road Win at Fayette

(SOMERVILLE, TN - April 30, 2022) - The baseball team matched up with Fayette Academy once again, this time on the road in Somerville. They came away with a 4-3 victory.

Junior Alex Twigg extended his run of success on the mound, going five scoreless innings without allowing an earned run and striking out five Viking hitters. Sam Clark entered the game in relief and threw two innings to close out the game.

Senior Aiden Bolling had three hits on the day and drove in a run, while Alex McAlpin and Cooper Nerby both hit doubles.

The team (4-27) wraps up the regular season on Monday against Whitehaven before preparing for the region tournament next weekend.
