Eagles Secure Big Region Win Against St. Agnes

(CORDOVA, TN - September 22, 2022) - The girls' soccer team put forward their best performance of the season on Thursday, defeating a tough St. Agnes team by a 1-0 score at The Nest.

Although the Stars dominated time of possession and outshot the Eagles by a significant margin, the team was able to fight their way to a victory.

Gracie Luther manned the goal and pitched a shutout despite the barrage of St. Agnes shots.

The game was tied at halftime and remained so until late in the second half, when freshman Angel Permenter put one into the back of the St. Agnes net to score the only goal of the match.

The team (3-4-2, 1-2-1) will look to notch another region win against St. Mary's on Tuesday.
