Hollingsworth Qualifies for State Tournament

(MEMPHIS, TN - September 27, 2022) - The girls' golf team competed in the Division II-AA Regional Tournament at Greens of Irene on Tuesday morning.

The finished tied for third (170) with St. Mary's. St. Agnes took the region with a collective score of 146. Hutchison (150) took second place and Briarcrest (180) rounded out the field.

Eagle junior Claire Hollingsworth shot a 76 to finish in fourth place and qualify for the TSSAA State Tournament.

St. Agnes' Anna Heck finished in first place with a 65, followed by Morgan Simmons (69) of Hutchison and Hana Barber (74) of St. Mary's.

Hollingsworth will compete in the State Tournament on October 6 and 7 in Sevierville.
