Mustangs Ride Past Lady Eagles

(CORDOVA, TN - January 16, 2023) - The girls' basketball team hosted Houston at The Nest for a midweek contest.

The Mustangs quickly proved to be a formidable opponent, holding the SBA offense under 10 points in both of the first two quarters to lead 21-12 at halftime.

The third quarter was more evenly contested before Houston put it away late.

Maria Bair was the Eagles' leading scorer with 17 points and Anna Lee Avery led Houston with 19.

The team is now 2-10 and will face ECS on Thursday.
