Eagle Girls Fall to Visitors from St. Louis

(CORDOVA, TN - December 16, 2022) - The girls' basketball team hosted visitors from Mary Institute & St. Louis County Day School on Friday night.

The result was a defensive slugfest from which MICDS emerged victorious, 42-30.

Both teams struggled offensively, but MICDS pulled ahead in the first half to lead 26-10 at the break.

Genesis Starks was the MICDS leading scorer and game high scorer with 15 points.

The Eagle offense got in gear a bit in the second half, but it was too little, too late. Gracie Lamey was the SBA leading scorer with 10 points.

The team is now 1-7 and will host the SBA Christmas Tournament next week.
