Lady Eagles Fall to Munford

(CORDOVA, TN - December 13, 2022) - The girls' basketball team hosted Munford on Tuesday night at The Nest.

Shea Gooden scored 11 of her 17 points in the first half as the Cougars built a 26-13 halftime lead.

Skyler Holland matched Gooden's point total of 17 and Harlee Windsor also scored in double figures for Munford with 15 points.

The Eagles made a strong push in the third quarter, going on a 21-12 run to cut into the Munford lead.

Farrah Rector scored six of her team high 13 points during the hot stretch to lead the SBA push.

However, it was too little too late and Munford regained control in the fourth quarter to hold on for a 57-46 win.

The girls fall to 1-6 on the year. They will host MICDS on Friday night.
