Lady Eagles Drop Two Road Games Over Weekend

(JACKSON & UNION CITY, TN - December 9-10, 2022) - The girls' basketball hit the road twice this weekend to face off with two out-of-town opponents.

On Friday night, they were in Jackson to play Jackson Christian. Jackson Christian jumped out to an early lead and rolled to an 81-36 victory.

Although the game got out of hand early, the girls continued to fight in the second half.

Farrah Rector led the team with 12 points.

On Saturday, the team made the trip to Union City to face the Tornadoes.

This one was much closer, although a stagnant second quarter allowed Union City to run out to a halftime lead.

The game ended with the Tornadoes winning 53-40. Maria Bair (12), Gracie Lamey (12), and Farrah Rector (10) all scored in double figures for SBA.

The next game is Tuesday against Munford.
