Softball Pounds Saints on the Road

(EADS, TN - April 28, 2022) - The softball team played Briarcrest in the second region game of the year between the two teams. This time, there was a lot less drama.

The Eagle offense got two in the first and scored in every inning of the game, including an eight-run fourth inning.

Charlee Smith was the player of the game. In addition to going 3-4 with two doubles and three RBI at the plate, she pitched a complete game, allowing three hits, one run, and striking out three.

Senior Neely Taylor also had three hits and three RBI, while Meredith McCusker (2-4, 3 RBI) and Zoie Bernard (2-4, RBI) also had strong games.

The team (11-14, 4-1) will look to get revenge against Tipton-Rosemark at home on Monday night.
