Leoni Finishes 10th in 800m

(GERMANTOWN, TN - April 8-9, 2022) - The SBA track team competed in the Houston Track and Field Classic over the weekend.

Bianca Von Bergen (2nd in discus) and Kathryn Hosp (2nd in pole vault) led the way for the girls with strong showings in their events. Ava Esteb ran hard, finishing 6th in the 100m run and 7th in the 200m run.

In open events, Caroline Dorian and Kayleigh Villem finished 1st and 2nd in the discus, respectively, while Sarah Wiggins placed 2nd in the 800m run.

For the boys, Daniel Leoni placed 10th in the 800m run and Jordan Holt finished 10th in the shotput and 14th in the discus.

Next on the schedule is the Dragon Relays at Collierville on April 23.
