Soccer Drops Region Opener To CBHS

(CORDOVA, TN - April 19, 2022) - The soccer team welcomed CBHS to The Nest on Tuesday night to kick off the 2022 region schedule.

The match was even in the early stages, and neither team was able to put a goal on the scoreboard in the first half.

Despite a strong effort from goalie Zander Schmidt (22 saves), the Purple Wave were able to gain momentum and scored three times in the second half to earn a 3-0 victory.

The team (2-4, 0-1) will play its second region match on Thursday against Briarcrest.
