Eagles Lose First Match of Season

(MEMPHIS, TN - December 6, 2022) - The boys' bowling team suffered its first loss of the season on Tuesday at All-Star Lanes when Briarcrest came away with a 16-7 win.

Ben Miller (213) and Sam Hardin (198) won their individual matches in the American 10-Pin round, but Briarcrest won the other four matches and knocked down more pins (1207-1110) to take an early 6-2 lead.

The Eagles fought back in the Baker rounds after losing the first two, to take the next two and make the overall score 10-6.

However, the Saints won the final Baker round to clinch the match.

Both teams knocked down 933 pins in the Baker rounds to split the two bonus points.

The team (6-1) has a chance to avenge the defeat and win the Region Championship in Thursday's rematch at Andy B's.
