Eagle Boys Earn Two Weekend Wins

(JACKSON & UNION CITY, TN - December 9-10, 2022) - The boys' basketball team picked up two more wins against out-of-town opponents this weekend, beating Jackson Christian on Friday and Union City on Saturday.

The team gutted out a low-scoring win against JCS, holding them to less than ten points in each quarter and slowly extending their lead before putting the game away late to win 48-32.

Marcus Gray (17) and Damion Cox (16) were the offensive leaders.

Saturday night's game in Union City was a much more typical affair that also resulted in a SBA victory by a score of 60-53.

Gray was once again the leading scorer, pouring in 25 points. Zach Spencer chipped in ten points of his own.

The team will look to extend their winning streak against Munford on Tuesday.
