Bio

Joey was raised in Cordova and is a graduate of St. Benedict's Class of 2015. While at St. Benedict, he was a valuable member of the football team and served as team captain during his junior and senior years. He was awarded numerous honors during his high school football career, including all-state and all-region selections. He also led the Eagles on the basketball court and was named offensive MVP after his junior season. Joey committed to play football at the University of Memphis, where he had a successful career and became the all-time U of M leader in receiving yards by a tight end. He was recently drafted by the Michigan Panthers of the newly formed USFL. Joey's sister, Ashley, played basketball at St. Benedict and is an alum of the Class of 2011.
