Having trained at an early age on an Atari 2600, steeped in classic games like Pac-Man, Frogger, and Pitfall, Coach Jim Roberts assumed leadership of the Esports team in late 2022. His goal is to foster a competitive program, while emphasizing the importance of camaraderie and friendship. A native of Ann Arbor and an alumnus of the University of Michigan, Coach Roberts graduated with an M.A. in theology from Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. He and his wife, Rocio, then relocated to Memphis to settle in the Nest. He teaches Junior Theology, which covers Christology and Catholic Social Teaching. His interests include history, cats, and silent film.
