Eagles Wrap Up Regular Season With Win at St. Agnes

(MEMPHIS, TN - October 3, 2022) - The girls' soccer team played their final match of the season at St. Agnes on Monday afternoon.

They needed a win to give themselves a shot to participate in the TSSAA Division II-AA playoffs.

The Stars put up a strong fight, but the Eagles were able to pull out a 1-0 victory on a second half goal by junior Ava Esteb.

Gracie Luther held the Stars scoreless for the duration of the game to earn a shutout.

The win brings the team's record to 4-6-3 and 2-4-2 in the region.

Their playoff hopes depend on the result of next Tuesday's game between Hutchison and St. Mary's.

The Eagles will be Sting fans on that day, because they will earn a playoff berth if Hutchison defeats St. Mary's.
