Trap Team Thrives at Regionals

(MEMPHIS, TN - May 4, 2024) - The Eagle trap team competed in the Regional 100-bird tournament at MSSA on Saturday, May 4. 31 schools and over 300 athletes competed.

SBA's A squad finished in 11th place. For the boys, the top gun was a tie between Bond Cheseldine (tied for 4th overall in class) and Gabriel Springer (tied for 5th overall in class).

The girls' Top Gun was Eva Podesta (tied for 5th overall in class).

Cash Townsend 25 straight (tied for 6th overall in class), becoming the first Eagle to do so this year in competition.

Seniors Carlo Duran and Clare Palasz finished out four years as members of the trap team.

The team will head to the State Championship June 11-12.
