Eagles Defeat Bolton in High Scoring Affair

(CORDOVA, TN - December 3, 2022) - The boys' basketball team faced off with Bolton at The Nest in a weekend tilt on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams came to play, but the Eagle offense proved to be more high powered than that of the Wildcats.

They led 33-24 at the half and held on to the lead for an 80-74 victory despite a 32 point fourth quarter during which the Wildcats made a push that fell just short.

Marcus Gray was the game's leading scorer with 24 points and Damion Cox provided 20 points of his own.

Marshall Smith (11) and Ryan Neely (10) also hit double figures.

Edarian Kleshington (22) and Corey Jenkins (19) were the leading scorers for Bolton.

The team is now 5-1 and will have a few days off before traveling to Jackson Christian on Friday.
